Twitter: Oh-Wow, Bow Wow!

Posted under anditisliz.com

Friend of the Neighborhood, Bow Wow hasn’t quite learned how to use twitterberry on his phone. He tried to send a “direct message” with his blackberry address. Instead, he hit “reply” and ended up giving it out to everyone following him on twitter, now that’s funny.

BIG UPS to Ryan Leslie for taking the time to share his music and talent. This is just part of what I was able to capture on film.

Ryan Leslie: Facts On The Tracks

Friend of the Neighborhood, Ryan Leslie gives the facts on the tracks from his self-titled CD.

DIAMOND GIRL

“I wrote this song awhile back when I was dating a real sweetheart. Before our relationship, I’d been dating a lot of different woman and I wanted to show my girl how committed I was with this song.”

YOU’RE FLY

“When I wrote this, I was simply thinking about how beautiful women are.  It happens too often that women forget their self-worth and end up in situations that diminish or hurt them.”

HOW IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE

“This song is the most personal one on my album. A really important woman in my life walked away from our relationship and it devasted me. It was a shock and I wondered if the two of us will ever find out if we made the right decision.”

OUT OF THE BLUE

“This is about that confused and lost period after a brutal break-up. One day you’re in love, the next you’re all alone and it happens so suddenly that you wonder how the other person would feel if you left them in a similarly distressed state.”

SHOULDN’T HAVE TO WAIT

“This song comes from the sentiments of my former girlfriend, someone I thought I could spend my life with. I was so busy with my music that I often didn’t have enough time to share with her. Relationships need to be on the same wavelength, and both partners need to be as involved and committed as the other one.”

WANNA BE GOOD TO YOU

“All women deserve to be loved and treated in a special way and with this song, I’m expressing my desire to treat my girl like the queen she is.”
