I had a chance to hangout with the pups this weekend. My parents have taken full custody of Jack… by this I mean they DON’T want to give him back to me.
However, when Jack lived with me I kept him looking sharp. This picture posted below SCREAMS haircut please!
You don’t have to run marathons or take endless spinning classes – here’s why plain old walking is the best thing for your body:
For your heart: Just 30 minutes of walking at least 3 times a week can lower your blood pressure. Plus, walking several times a week is just as effective as vigorous exercise when it comes to reducing women’s risk of heart disease.
For your brain: Walking boosts your brain’s production of endorphins, those feel-good chemicals that help ward off stress and depression and fight tension and anger.
For your skin: Like all cardio exercise, walking gets your heart pumping and improves circulation-and better blood flow means your skin looks (and IS!) healthier.
For your immune system: Walking 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week can help you cut your chances of getting a cold in HALF. Walking supports healthy circulation, which helps immune cells reach and kill viruses and bacteria more quickly.
For your bones: Weight-bearing exercise like walking helps build bone mass, which keeps bones stronger and fends off osteoporosis.
With more and more women staying single — and independent — for longer, it’s an important challenge for them to effectively manage their money.
But, unfortunately, some women are making poor choices and getting themselves in trouble.
“Many of the characteristics that make women uniquely feminine are the very same behaviors that prevent them from becoming financially independent,” says Lois Frankel, author of Nice Girls Don’t Get Rich: 75 Avoidable Mistakes Women Make With Money.
Here are a few of her tips for women to better manage their money, increase their financial independence, and raise their self-confidence.
1. Separate money from friendship or love – If someone you care about is in need, find different ways to help — other than giving away your money. Some ways to help without handing over cash include help with networking, cooking dinner, babysitting, and helping with paperwork.
2. Learn to negotiate effectively – Men think of negotiation as fun and exciting. Women tend to view it as scary. Make a game of it by preparing for every negotiation.
3. Get everything in writing – A smart way to manage your money is to make sure every financial transaction you make is in writing, signed by all parties.
4. Play to win – Men are willing to win at all costs and “playing like a girl” is a money mistake women make. Strive for victory. There’s nothing wrong, illegal, or immoral about walking away a winner.
Since there’s no reproductive value in kissing, it makes you wonder why kissing evolved. The purpose of kissing is actually to show trust, since you’re exposing the most vulnerable part of your body – your lips and tongue to another person.
Kissing feels so good because your lips have the highest number of nerve endings of any body part besides your privates.
